As a licensed bookmaker regulated by Racing NSW, Diamondbet is bound by the requirements of the Racing Administration Act 1998 (NSW) and the conditions of our bookmaker's licence. These conditions require us to comply with a number of industry codes and codes of practice, which are designed to protect consumers, promote integrity in wagering, and minimise gambling-related harm.
We take our obligations under these codes seriously and subject ourselves to regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance. Below you will find a summary of each code we operate under, along with a link to the full document (requires login or registration).
Racing NSW's Responsible Gambling Code of Conduct sets minimum standards for how licensed bookmakers must interact with customers around responsible gambling. It covers customer identification, harm minimisation tools, staff training, advertising restrictions and complaints handling.
Diamondbet exceeds the minimum standards in several areas, including proactive monitoring of betting patterns and our extended suite of player protection tools.
For customers physically located in South Australia, we also operate under the South Australian Responsible Gambling Code of Practice, administered by Consumer and Business Services SA. This code imposes additional obligations with respect to advertising, inducements and pre-commitment mechanisms.
South Australian residents can access additional responsible gambling support through the SA Gambling Helpline on 1800 060 757.
As a licensed Racing NSW bookmaker, we are bound by the Racing NSW Bookmaker's Code of Conduct, which covers standards for bet acceptance, settlement, customer complaints, market integrity and reporting obligations. The code sets out our responsibilities with respect to pricing, record keeping and cooperation with Racing NSW investigators.
Any suspected integrity issues are reported to Racing NSW and relevant sporting bodies without delay.
Diamondbet adheres to the Australian Wagering Council's Wagering Advertising and Marketing Code, which sets standards for responsible advertising. This includes restrictions on advertising during live sports broadcasts before 8:30pm, prohibitions on advertising that targets minors or vulnerable persons, and requirements that all inducements be presented clearly and accurately.
We do not advertise on social media platforms where the primary user base includes persons under 18.
Under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), Diamondbet maintains a comprehensive AML/CTF Program, which includes customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers, transaction monitoring, suspicious matter reporting to AUSTRAC, and staff training. Our AML/CTF Program is reviewed and updated annually by our compliance team and external legal counsel.
Our commercial partners — including affiliates, media partners and data suppliers — must agree to our Partner Terms of Engagement before working with Diamondbet. These terms incorporate our responsible gambling commitments, advertising standards, data protection requirements and anti-corruption obligations. Partners found to be in breach of our terms will have their agreements terminated.
If you believe Diamondbet has not complied with any of the above codes, you have the right to make a formal complaint. In the first instance, please contact our compliance team at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 business days and to resolve them within 10 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to Racing NSW or the relevant state/territory gambling regulator. For responsible gambling complaints specifically, you may also contact the Office of the eSafety Commissioner or your state's consumer protection agency.
